Light painting
These photos are made using “light painting” technique, without any type of filter or post production processing.
After composing the set with extreme care, you work with a camera on a tripod, a 20-60 second exposure time and, completely in the dark with the aid of a torch, you “brush” the light only where it is appropriate to illuminate, in based on the image you want to get.
Playing with lights and shadows you get this particular effect that makes the image almost look like a painting. You can model soft and dosed lights that seem to come from a half-open window, exalting the composition and enhancing the colors
There are various ways to make photographs like these: multiple exposures, filters or elaborations with Photoshop. I apply only the purest technique, which in addition to the camera, provides patience, experience, keen eye for composition and a pinch of poetry.
